Main Responsibilities

  • Assemble electrical and mechanical components according to engineering drawings, schematics, and assembly procedures.

  • Crimp or solder electrical contacts.

  • Assemble finished products with mechanical fasteners and light-duty hand tools.

  • Conduct functional testing of assembled systems to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.

  • Identify and resolve issues related to assembly, wiring, and mechanical components to meet product requirements.

  • Maintain accurate records of assembly processes, testing results, and any modifications made during the assembly phase.

  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including engineers and quality control, to achieve production goals.

  • Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance assembly processes and increase efficiency.

  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, industry regulations, and company policies during the assembly process.

      
Requirements

  • 0 to 2 years of experience in electro-mechanical assembly.

  • Accreditation from a technical school or an applicable skilled trades program preferred.

     
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

  • Knowledge of electro-mechanical systems, including electrical and mechanical components, circuits, and systems.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify and address issues in a timely manner.

  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and convey technical information clearly.

  • Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in assembly processes.

  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Must be able to work individually as well as in a small team environment.

   
Work Location

This in-person position will work out of the Victor, NY facility.

   
Salary Range

$18-20 per hour based on experience
