Main Responsibilities
- Set up and adjust machines for each production run, ensuring proper settings for cycle times.
- Select from pre-set programs to operate machines.
- Operate machines to produce components according to established specifications and quality standards.
- Assemble products to the work instructions provided via ISO 9001 certification.
- Conduct regular quality checks on produced components to ensure they meet specified criteria; identify and address any defects or issues promptly.
- Optimize machine output by loading the next product prior to mold cycle completion.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure working environment; report any safety concerns or incidents immediately.
- Maintain accurate records of production data, including quantities produced, downtime, and any issues encountered during the manufacturing process.
- Work closely with other team members, including engineers and quality control staff, to ensure seamless production processes and troubleshooting.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Proven experience as a Machine Operator in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Technical knowledge of machines and related equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Ability to install tools into machine and make tooling insert changes, as needed.
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Work Location
This in-person position will work out of the Victor, NY facility.
