Main Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, develop, test, and maintain business applications to meet organizational needs.
- Gather and document business requirements, and create custom solutions using C#, React, REST APIs, MSSQL, MySQL, YAML, and other technologies.
- Provide ongoing application support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution to ensure minimal impact on business operations.
- Implement and manage user access, security, and permissions within supported applications.
- Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability by applying best practices and participating in system upgrades or launches.
- Design, develop, and maintain efficient database structures and enforce data security measures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate applications with other business systems and communicate technical challenges to IT leadership.
- Lead application development projects, ensuring successful implementation and adherence to project timelines.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including configurations, customizations, integrations, data dictionaries, schema diagrams, and user guides.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Senior Programmer or Application Developer.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Microsoft .Net C#, JavaScript, and HTML.
- Experience with modern relational databases, such as Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL.
- Familiarity with modern front end development frameworks, such as React (Angular or Vue
a plus). - Familiarity with AI concepts and tools, and an understanding of how AI can be used both to enhance productivity and as part of application solutions.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
- Aptitude to write custom code and solve business-specific challenges.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Must be able to work individually as well as in a small team environment.
- Effective time management skills and the ability to complete all projects/tasks within the established timelines.
Work Location
This in-person position will work out of the Victor, NY facility.
