CSA CLASS 1, DIVISION 1 LOOP POWER SENSORS

CSA North America Class 1, Division 1 approved loop power sensors are designed for continuous vibration monitoring in hazardous areas where ignitable gas, vapor or dust are frequently present or are present during typical operation. Approved under Canadian Standards Association (CSA) guidelines, our intrinsically safe, nonincendive loop power sensors meet safety standards for explosive environments. Our CSA North America Class 1, Division 1 approved loop power sensors transmit signals over long distances without signal loss and are compatible with PLC, DCS, and SCADA systems.

Choose from two output options: 4-20 mA current proportional to the machine’s overall vibration in velocity or 4-20 mA current proportional to the machine's overall vibration in acceleration. Top exit two-pin connector, integral cable, and armored integral cable options are available for superior performance in hundreds of condition monitoring applications.

Please note, CSA North America Class 1, Division 1 loop power sensors must be used with energy limiting barriers such as our IS111-1B.
