8 MM HAZARDOUS-AREA APPROVED PROXIMITY PROBE SETS

CTC is proud to offer our 8 mm proximity probes systems, also known as eddy current probe systems, with optional hazardous area approvals Class 1 Division 1/Zone 1 and Class 1, Division 2. These hazardous rated PRO Line proximity probes, extension cables, and drivers are designed to precisely measure shaft displacement on machinery with fluid film bearings. They are also fully compliant with American Petroleum Institute’s (API) 670 Standards. 8 mm proximity probes are used for monitoring displacement gaps of 10-90 mils, are available in overall allowable system lengths of 1 meter, 5 meters, and 9 meters, and are ideal for use in a wide variety of applications from compressors to turbines.

Our hazardous-area approved 8 mm PRO Line proximity probe systems are the most durable and dependable on the market and are seamlessly compatible with all standard condition monitoring software, including Alta Solutions, Bently Nevada, TWave, and more.

Please note - Class 1 Division 1/Zone 1 systems require the use of an intrinsically safe barrier, such as IS151-1B.
