CTC offers the MH170-1A heat isolated and electrical isolated mounting pad, which is a unique accelerometer mounting solution offering high temperature dissipation and electrical isolation to help protect your accelerometer and ensure accurate readings in demanding industrial environments.
Made from specially-engineered resin and featuring a maximum temperature of 250 °C (480 °F), the MH170-1A offers electrical isolation of ≥ 10 kv DC and effectively dissipates 169 °C (336.2 °F) between machine surface and the mounted sensor. (Based on controlled testing using a 250 °C hot plate for 10 hours at 21 °C ambient conditions). It also acts as a mechanical low-pass filter: MH170-1A accurately passes frequencies up to 2,300 Hz (+3dB).
